Thursday Offerings


Busy, Busy, Busy! Seems like this weeks work mantra has been BAGS! BAGS! BAGS! I know most of you that read are FB friends and have seen the new creations, but still wanted to display the completed works here! For those of you that may have just stumbled onto my bloG hope you like the works and become one of the Peeps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now on to Taco Thursday!!!!!!!!!!!! Another quick meal for the youths and I! Curried Lentils with Coconut Creme, Cabbage Slaw, Tomato and Cucumber topping!


I know I use Cabbage A LOT and that really is a new happening...never really liked the taste of cooked cabbage. But while thinking up new and healthy meals this Cabbage Slaw came to mind and the Kiddies and I LOVE IT and I use it almost everyday! Not to mention eating it Raw gives the full  impact of all it's healthy properties, it's Super Tasty and is helping me be 1 inch closer to my full raw diet Aim! Just a Quick Run Down of the Health Benefits of Red Cabbage...

. Low in Fat
. Great Source of Vitamin C and E which is good for the
   immune system
. Good for Skin and Eyes because it's Packed with Vitamin A
  as well
. High in Sulfur which cleanses the body and bowels which
  aids in preventing  indigestion and constipation
. Has Anti-Cancer Properties

 Sure there is Much more that the Red Cabbage is good for but this is just a brief list of what I found...you should google to verify and find out more about this and other great, tasty, healthy foods that Mother Earths Springs forth for InI :)

  1. Nice bags and I love cabbage, especially purple cabbage. I recently found out that I love it raw too, especially in a veggie wrap!

  3. oh yes! lentil tacos are definitely delicious. i like cabbage a lot, too. never did growing up, but after becoming vegan-ish, a lot of foods i once couldn't stand became some of my favorites.

    i did 100% raw in 2007, and it was awesome! i swear i was on a completely different level mentally and energetically (and i'm not just saying that). THAT was the real deal. i felt great. wishing you the best on your journey!
